Ten Months
Two teeth on top and four on the bottom, but most important....he crawls! The boys and I were in the living room one day and Paxton was on his hands and knees rocking back and forth and you could just see it in him...just go forward...and he finally did and hasn't stopped! He loves being able to go exploring everywhere and follow big brother around. Our little monthly photo shoots have been getting shorter and shorter but this is a game changer for sure...now he just takes off or tries to grab the camera. And within a few days of crawling he started pulling himself up on the furniture too. Here we go!

Autumn
I miss Seattle a lot but there's one thing Virginia is far superior in...Autumn. The leaves, the weather...I love it.

Quote of the day...
Tavish: Mom I have a fart stuck in butt and I'm trying to pop it!
Didn't ask how...
Didn't ask how...
He crawls!
Batten down the hatches...this boy finally learned to crawl!
And boy is he happy to be getting around on his own.
Of course we are finding him everywhere, getting into everything.

Halloween 2013
This year Tavish decided to be a pumpkin...originally he had wanted to be something else (I can't remeber now what it was) but decided it was too scary and wanted to be a pumpkin instead. So cute.
At preschool they had a Halloween parade at the end of school which the parents were invited to attend.
For some reason this pumpkin's hat ended up laying on his head.
In the evening we like to start our trick-or-treating at Auntie Lana's house...
with crazy Uncle Joe.
` You may remember this monster from 4 years ago...
just a different baby.
I still love this costume!
Then trick-or-treating around Auntie Lana's neighborhood.
We had a slow start because we were a bit early, but we had fun and then headed home and did some more trick-or-treating around our neighborhood with the neighbor boys.

Pumpkins!
This year's pumpkins...the spider turned out the best. the bottom right one is supposed to be Frankenstein which looked cool on the pattern but not so much on the pumpkin. I'm still sold on the whole following a pattern thing though. And I think we need to re-institute the pumpkin-carving party because otherwise it's a rushed affair with pretty indifferent little boys and a big boy who wants to get back to his football game.

Convos at church
We are sitting in the chapel at church during the service when Tavish notices the wall behind the pulpit has bricks that stick out in a repetitive pattern for decoration.
Tavish: I bet Spiderman could climb up that wall!
Me: I bet he could!
Tavish: Do you think he'll climb up it today???
Me: Probably not, it's the Primary program today.
FYI...Tavish delivered his two sentence line perfectly during the Primary program (he had memorized it and we could see him tell the Primary president he didn't need any help when it was his turn) and then proceeded to wave his arms all over the place (multiple times!) to get our attention while sitting on the stand with his classmates. Rafal and I were dying laughing...but trying not to let him see it :) Crazy, naughty boy!
