Every year the whole nation gets together and celebrates...
Grandma Linda's birthday! This year the birthday party was a day early but still a cracker...yummy dinner courtesy of Lana and Hawk...
and fireworks courtesy of the boys...in true Virginia style, the thunder started rolling and the rain started falling right in the middle of the show...accompanied by the sound of fire engines in the distance...
but it was still a doozy...Tavish enjoyed the show but not the noise...those pesky fire engines kept getting louder...and louder...until we realized, when we got rained out, they were right in the front yard!
